Warp Space American Game Cartridges?Play a TerraFed Fleet Academy graduate as he advances in the ranks by taking on dangerous missions in this space combat simulator.

At least one playable prototype was created but its whereabouts are unknown. Some people assume this game to be P'radikus Conflict as Color Dreams and ShareData/AGCI had partnered for videogames before. But, Warp Space was in fact revirewed by VideoGames & Computer Entertainment in their march 1992 issue, long after P'radikus Conflict had been published.

Front Line  Taito1985Taito's early Famicom games really leave a lot to be desired. Front Line is no exception. A pathetic arcade conversion. The player is a soldier who has to shoot everything in sight and walk his way up several screens until he gets into a tank. The rest of a level follows the same formula, just that you are using the tank to go up several more screens and destroy the enemy base. Bad graphics and sound combined with sloppy gameplay. labelimageminimize
Dough Boy  Kemco (Synapse Software)1985This is surely one of the worst games existing on the Famicom. In several stages you collect tools like TNT or ladders and use them to make further progress. In the last stage you have to rescue a POW. The controls are horrible, shooting and walking doesn't work and it is a real pain to get the tools to work. Add very simple graphics on top of that and you get a game of miserable quality. labelimageminimize

[52]***I really liked the C64 version of Commando (which C64 user doesn't remember that awesome music?), so I was really curious how the NES version would play. Commando is an early Run and Gun game, one of the genre defining games so to say, originally released in the arcades and converted to virtually every homecomputer possible. The NES version is an interesting version and playable, it even has a new feature. Throwing grenades at some places reveals otherwise hidden stairs which you can climb down and enter extra mini-rooms sometimes filled with enemies but often also having extra items in them. But the game fails to be as good as it could have been. The music doesn't drive me forward as it did in the C64 version. The graphics are adequate for a 1986 game but there is often much flickering. Sometimes enemy soldiers just disappear completely from the screen. The game has only four short levels, but despite this it is rather difficult.***Publish in Japan, 1986-09-27

Rush'n Attack  Konami;Playtronic (Konami)1987***Up for a little guerilla warfare? You asked for it. You're behind enemy lines, armed with only a knife and a mission: to free dozens of POWs hidden in an isolated, well-armored camp. If you're good, you'll pick off the heavily-armed enemy guerillas, one by one, and grab their bazookas and hand grenades. If you're great, you'll turn their weapons against them, to blow away a pack of attack dogs, a fleet of choppers, and a whole battalion of guards. But make one mistake, and it's all over. For you, our POWs... the future of the Free World!***

[52]***Konami did a pretty good job with this arcade port. Lots of variety in background graphics and good music. Gameplay is simple but the controls work well and there is not much more needed for this type of game. Only negative thing about it are the three or four same attack patterns from standard enemies. The graphics of these enemies change each level, but the attack patterns stay always the same. The NES version came at the same time as the Japanese Famicom Disk System version. That's a pretty rare case in the early NES era. Maybe Konami and Nintendo thought this type of game would do especially well in the US.***1 player or 2 players simultaneous cooperative.

Bio Senshi Dan: Increaser to no Tatakai  Jaleco (Atlus)1987"Bio Senshi Dan" plays a bit like the original Castlevania game, but is more non-linear at times and its in a futuristic setting. You travel back in time to stop some kind of bio-mutations before they become too strong in the future. The game is a mixed-bag. Graphics and sound are surprisingly well done, but the controls and especially the fighting is not much fun. Enemies are sometimes hard to hit, and there is once again a much too drastic knockback effect to your character when he is hit. Overall an average game, which doesn't look too bad when compared to similar games on the NES in 1987.***インクリーザー literally reads
inkurīzā
which is transliteration of English "increaser".***Dan from the 21st century has been sent back in time to the point when Increaser's invasion was beginning and intend to battle him before his grip on the world grows too strong to fight back.***Bio Senshi Dan: Inkliezar to no Tatakai released in Japan
Bashi Bazook: Morphoid Masher was scheduled for release in the USA. A 100% complete prototype was found.
Bio-Warrior Dan: The Increaser Battle is an unofficial English translation made before the Bashi Bazook prototype was found.

Bionic Commando  Capcom1988For two years, your people have struggled against the relentless onslaught of invading forces. With your army reduced to a handful and your artillery depleted, further resistance seems impossible. But in a hidden underground laboratory, a team of scientists has at last perfected a new kind of fighting machinery: a bionic arm that extends and contracts, providing unheard of strength and maneuverability. Combined with an arsenal of rapid-fire, armor-piercing and heat-seeking weaponry, this will put the power of an entire army in the hands of one man... one carefully chosen soldier, who has what it takes to become a new breed of unstoppable commando... a Bionic Commando. And you are that soldier! Your mission will take you through the heavily-patrolled wilderness surrounding the enemy headquarters and into the very heart of the fortress itself. Even to the most courageous soldier, it would seem an impossible challenge. But there has never been a soldier like the Bionic Commando!***

[27]***A sleeper hit. In this version, you are a soldier who has to rescue Super Joe, hero of Commando.
When you get to near the end of the game, watch for a gruesome death. Pretty tricky to play, but not as tricky as the original arcade.***The Japanese title of the game translates to 'Hitler's Resurrection.'
[Jacquismo]***As mentioned above, this game is about Hitler, but all references to Hitler and the Nazis were removed from the US version. This patch will restore the original graphics and text:

Jackal Konami;Playtronic (Konami)1988***Pretty straightforward and well playable shooter game similar to overhead "run and gun" games, just that you are driving a jeep instead of running around on foot.***Infrared satellites soaring miles above Earth have spotted dozens of American prisoners of war still trapped on enemy soil. Missing for years but never forgotten, these men must be brought home. But America is in no position to risk an all-out invasion that could prompt retaliation. Instead, the only possible hope for their freedom is a small scale commando raid - code name JACKAL.***The catalog number for the brazilian version published by Playtronic, NES-JK-BZL, is not visually confirmed.***1 player or 2 players simultaneous.

As a member of the elite tactical squad Operation Wolf, you must invade their hideout, destroy their operations, and get the hostages out alive! Maneuver through a series of missions and fight off soldiers, patrol boats, helicopters, and more. The further you progress, the more enemies you'll have to defeat and the harder they'll try to stop you in your tracks (going so far as tossing knives and grenades at you or wearing armor). Each area along your path ends with a boss battle where you'll have to find and exploit each boss's particular weakness. To top it all off, your weapon options are also limited, so you'll need to conserve ammunition and grenades.
